EMC Isilon Insight

EMC is inviting you to the Isilon workshop in Neuss on 23 September 2015. Numerous customers have taken this opportunity to find out about the functions and easy management using the Isilon scale-out NAS. Besides previewing upcoming releases and functions, the focus was on application examples from practice. it-RSC contributed to the workshop with the “Next GEN CAX – a radical change for engineering” topic – how do I massively reduce check-in/check-out times for CAD workstations and therefore increase productivity?

Mobile Isilon, we solve your logistics problem with big data

In cooperation with steep GmbH we have developed a mobile high-performance IT system for remote workplaces in extreme conditions. The multifunctional cases from steep even meet the standards for potential explosive zone 2 environments. Thanks to the advantages of the ISILON NAS platform even extremely large quantities of data can be ported, stored and processed on your usual consumer hardware and software.

Talk to us and be impressed by the variety of options.

AFCEA 2015

…is opening its doors for the 29th trade fair

The AFCEA trade fair is taking place on 6 and 7 May at Bad Godesberg town hall. This year everything revolves around the topic of “organised” IT – the army and authorities in the digital world. it-RSC GmbH will be at the joint booth with steep GmbH presenting an IN-FIELD SIMULATION AND TRAINING SYSTEM (IFST).

A project for the future…

In-Field Simulation and Training System (IFST)

To get as realistic an image as possible in a crisis zone without putting the various task forces at risk it-RSC GmbH has developed an IFST system in cooperation with steep GmbH and the RIF Institut für Forschung und Transfer e.V. This allows for high resolution 3D applications on site on extremely mobile end devices.

Potential application areas are military forces, natural disasters or major events.

Healthcare IT

EMC ISILON is revolutionising the management of high resolution patient data…

New and improved medical examination methods have made the amount of medical data grow exponentially. This poses clinics and medical practices with the difficult task of appropriate data availability. If there are large volumes of data such as x-rays, MRIs or similar complex findings, the requirements for storage and repeated fast access increase once again. As the examination results have to be available again within a very short time for medical decisions on an as-needed basis. [ …]
